Durian Fruit

Taste and smell are closely linked, and a lot of what we taste is altered by how the food smells, so it’s difficult to enjoy the taste of durian fruit because of its smell. The fruit has a creamy texture and a unique flavor, and it’s actually considered a delicacy in Southeast Asian countries!

Anchovies

Anchovies have a strong, salty flavor that can be overwhelming, and many Americans have an aversion to this taste. Business Insider reports that “a 2016 Harris Poll surveying 2,193 American adults about their favorite pizza toppings found that anchovies were the least liked.”

Blue Cheese

Many people think blue cheese tastes just as weird as it looks and tend to steer clear of this type of cheese.
